So the kids start back to school on Wednesday. I think they're both eager to get back to it. Me? I'd like to have them here a little while longer. Clip their wings.
Today, instead of enjoying the last day of summer vacation, we were rushing around securing last-minute supplies. There were Twinkle Toes to buy, Vans to be found. Apparently, no one in this town had bought their kids back-to-school shoes yet. Everyone was still clad in their sandals and crocs and shoes of summer. But we were an orderly mob.
No one wanted to go to bed tonight. School night bedtimes suck after a summer of no worries.
