Weekly Random Thoughts On The Carolina Tar Heels
The Heels are now 19-1 and are ranked 5th in the AP and 4th in the ESPN/USA Today polls.Carolina went 2-1 this week. They barely made it past Georgia Tech and then followed that with an 82-80 loss to Maryland. But after a few days of intense practice (judging by Williams' Maryland postgame interview), they defeated Miami, 98-82, behind Hansbrough's thirty-five points (twenty-seven of which came in the second half).
They do not play again until a January 31st game against Boston College.
