It's that time of year again: beginning tonight, the NFL expands its programming to three nights a week! Yeah, baby!
Unfortunately, we do not have DirecTV and my cable provider, Time Warner, is still engaging in a pissing match with the NFL Network and refuses to carry that channel.
So in short, I can't watch the game from my recliner.
But I'm willing to make sacrifices. It will be tough, but I'll drag myself to the crowded sports bar to be with 150 of my closest friends to watch the Bears collapse. I really wanted to spend the evening on the couch with my wife watching Grey's Anatomy, but my friends need me. Sorry, hon.
And for tonight's game, I'm going with Simmons: NINERS (-3) over Bears.
Magical Evening
