The Yankees are now seven games behind Boston in the AL East and one and a half games behind Detroit for the American League Wild Card.The Yankees have won eleven of their last fifteen games. In those eleven wins, the Yankees have outscored their opponents 127-38.

Congratulations to A-Rod for hitting his 500th career homerun today. I hope his 600th, 700th, and 800th come while wearing the pinstripes as well.
